About Us

We are Dalia and Eligijus, and we welcome you to Cattery Svajonė. Nestled in the heart of Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, we have been passionate cat breeders and members of the Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA) since 2005.

Our Journey

For over a decade, we have dedicated ourselves to breeding Exotic Shorthair cats. Our journey began with our first cats from the Kis'Herbas Cattery: Kis'Herbas Vinnetu (later known as RW SGC Kis'Herbas Vinnetu of Caramia) and Kis'Herbas Issima. We are deeply grateful to our dear friend Gražina, whose support and invaluable advice helped lay the foundation for our cattery. Special thanks also go to our veterinarian, Irena, who has been a steadfast partner over the years, always ready to assist us with her expertise and care.

Our Mission

Our goal is to breed healthy, beautiful cats that embody the ideal characteristics of the Exotic breed:

• Open Faces with Expressive Eyes: Large, expressive eyes that give them an endearing, kitten-like expression.
• Robust Physique: A big head, short and strong body, massive legs, and a fluffy little tail—resembling a cuddly teddy bear.
• Luxurious Fur: A dense, soft, and shiny coat.

While we appreciate all coat colors, we have a particular affinity for Silver Tabby/Whites and Bi-Colors. We are committed to continuous improvement, always aiming for each litter to be better than the last.

Our Breeding Practices

From each litter, we select the best kittens to continue our breeding program, often keeping them until they have contributed to the next generation. We occasionally introduce new cats to enhance our bloodlines, prioritizing overall excellence over specific coat colors.

We adhere to the highest standards of health and care:

• Health Certifications: All our cats are bred from PKD DNA-negative parents, with tests conducted by UC Davis Veterinary Genetics Laboratory and Gribbles Veterinary Pathology in Australia.
• Regular Vaccinations: Our cats receive routine vaccinations against Rabies, Feline Infectious Enteritis, and Respiratory Viral Diseases.
• Microchipping and Passports: Kittens leave our cattery fully vaccinated, microchipped, and with a European Veterinary Passport.
• Fungus-Free Environment: We maintain a clean, fungus-free environment to ensure the well-being of our cats.

Our Home

We reside in a spacious house that provides ample room for our cats to play and explore. They are not just pets but cherished members of our family. Their well-being and happiness are paramount, and they reward us with affection and gentle companionship.
